Parks & Records is an indie record label with a mission. They are committed to great indie pop/ noise rock music and the environment. Their first album release was the self titled Carcrashlander. Also released on the label is the debut of Shuteye Unison, featuring label-owner Jon Fee and fellow members of Rum Diary. Jon Fee formed Parks & Records with his wife Mimi, and now includes their son Charlie River. In addition to using cardboard sleeves rather than plastic jewel cases, Parks & Records also donates a percentage of all sales to the National Arbor Day Foundation, National Forest Foundation and Friends of the Urban Forest. Parks & Records will likely be an inspiration to other like-minded labels.
