One Two Buckle My Floor.

I would love to have these recycled belt floors from Ting in my house but the cost is astronomical. The accent rug offered through Branch isn't much better. I would love to collect vintage leather belts and try a DIY project on a smaller scale. Any suggestions on a green way to fuse the belts together?

I agree, I could not believe the price!!!

Love the accent rug :) I wonder if one couldn't make a small door mat. Perhaps stitch it together???

There are always tons of belts at the thrift!

Wow! That floor looks amazing!

I think using a piece of fabric (or something else suitable) as a base and gluing or stitching the belts to it might work if were to make something similar yourself.

My thoughts were along the same as yours. I'm not sure you could find a strong enough adhesive for thick leather belts that would also be non toxic. And stitching thick belts with out an industrial sewing machine may be difficult as well.

Anyone have a non toxic yet industrial strength glue source??

I loved the seat belt hammock and pillows too. Super spendy though. I will pay more for great design but I can't justify this one yet.
