The Way I Sound.
This is exactly how I sound trying to sing Ingrid Michaelson's "The Way I Am." Exactly. Melissa Polinar is pretty amazing, check her out.

Live Earth India Cancelled.

Everyone involved with Live Earth India, from our U.S.- and India-based staff, artists and crew to our India-based broadcast, production, non-profit and marketing communications partners, is stunned and saddened by the tragic events of the past few days in our host city Mumbai. We always felt very welcomed and safe as we spent more time on the ground in Mumbai to finalize plans for Live Earth India, scheduled for December 7.
Due to circumstances far beyond our control, we are saddened to announce that Live Earth India has been cancelled. We will continue to work for solutions to the climate crisis for the good of the people of India and around the world. But for now, our thoughts and our prayers are with the victims of this terrible attack, with the bereaved, with the people of Mumbai and with everyone in India.
- Joint Official Statement from Live Earth Founder Kevin Wall, The Office of the Honorable Al Gore and Dr. R.K. Pachauri, Chairman IPCC

I'm Yours.
Meet Cathy or possibly Kathy, I'm not sure. Regardless, she is adorable. When I sing in the bathroom this is what I think I might sound like. Maybe.

Austin based rockers, Peter And The Wolf, were annoyed with high gasoline prices. So the frontman Red Hunter decided the band should travel the eastern leg of their 2006 summer tour by sea -- so they cruised along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway in a chartered sailboat. Rock On!

The indie rockers, Cloud Cult, are green all stars! They ensure that each and every CD printed on their own nonprofit record label, Earthology Records, is Eco friendly. They package CD's in recycled jewel cases, each of which is hand cleaned by the band members themselves. All CD inserts are printed with non toxic soy inks on recycled paper, and CD shrink wrap is made of non toxic biodegradable corn cellulose. This is all done on an organic farm, where Earthology's headquarters are heated entirely with geothermal energy. WOW!

The folksy rockers known as Guster are serious about environmental issues. For the last two years the band has ventured on the Campus Consciousness Tour, playing shows at colleges across the U.S. while educating students about Bio diesel, chemical free cosmetics, and organic food. The tours were organized by Reverb, the nonprofit founded by Guster member Adam Gardner and his wife Lauren Sullivan. Reverb assists artist like Dave Matthews, Barenaked Ladies, John Mayer, Jack Johnson and others make their own tours more environmentally sound through an interactive Eco-village.

We all know that Dave and the guys are green. They teamed up with Reverb, use Biodiesel, are offering Eco-RideShare to their venues, offer eco friendly merchandise, use biodegradable and compostable products in their catering area, blah blah blah... I wanted to share with you something you may not know. Dave Matthews himself owns a 1,340 acre farm in Virginia named Maple Hill Farm. The farm grows organic vegetables, flowers, and herbs through a community supported agriculture (CSA) program. Dave also maintains the nearby Blenheim Vineyards which utilizes gravity flow and other gentle winemaking techniques. Note:: Hey Dave I would love to meet you in the Eco Village tomorrow night!
