Green {Goody} was awarded with Apartment Therapy's Homie Award for Best Green Design Blog for 2008. A big Thank You to each and every person who nominated Green {Goody} and then voted. I was not even aware of the nomination and was truly shocked when someone contacted me after I was announced as a finalist. I would also like to thank AT and Re-Nest for sponsoring this award. Each day I grow more amazed by the outpouring of love and support I receive.

P.S. Because I was not aware of the nominations and they have since been removed, I had no idea who nominated me. However I did receive an email informing me that Rebel and Karyn of Two Tall Girls nominated me. So I would like to send them a little love. Thank You Girls!

Apartment Therapy is hosting their very own awards ceremony called The Homies. They asked readers to nominate their favorite design blogs of 2008 — and Green {Goody} has made it on the ballot for Best Green Design Blog! To say I am shocked would be an understatement- my fellow nominees are in a class of their own and I am simply honored to be considered.

If you would like to vote for Green {Goody} please do so, but I won't mind if you vote for the other amazing nominees either. Voting closes 5 pm EST on January 5th and winners will be announced on January 6, 2009.
