1 c. organic flour
1/2 c. sea salt
2 tbs. cream of tarter
1 c. filtered water
1 tbs. organic canola oil
Mix flour, salt and cream of tarter in a saucepan. Combine water and oil in a small bowl. Stir into flour mixture gradually. Cook over low to medium heat for 5 minutes or until very thick, stirring constantly. Remove and allow to cool for a few minutes. Knead until smooth. Store in an airtight container.
Note:: If you would like to add natural coloring to your dough beet juice, carrot juice, and spinach juice work great. Also, with a few drops of essential oil you can make your dough smell great too!

What a great idea! Play-doh was pretty much the best thing ever as a kid, but I like the idea of making an eco-friendly version in your own kitchen! Thanks for the recipe. :)
I did love it too, but I was not the weird kid who liked to eat it. ;)
