I'm about to talk design, so bear with me. The thing about great product design is that it will draw in people who wouldn't otherwise buy your product. I would NEVER own chickens, just not my thing. I have listened to many convincing arguments for raising a brood of hens, but I'm just not that into it. Then I saw the Eglu by Omelet and there was a fleeting moment where I thought- maybe just maybe we could get a chicken or two, or ten. It would be a good experience for the kids, right? See what good design can do.
