Green Tip Tuesday.

Buy organic versions of the most contaminated produce. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG) the following fruits and vegetables have the most pesticide contamination: peaches, apples, bell peppers, celery, nectarines, strawberries, cherries, lettuce, imported grapes, pears, spinach, potatoes, carrots, green beans, hot peppers, and cucumbers. Those with the least residues include onions, avocado, frozen sweet corn, pineapples, mango, frozen sweet peas, asparagus, kiwi, bananas, cabbage, broccoli, and eggplant.
